Scottish Wildflower Cowl or Circle Scarf - FREE SHIPPING C5
In stock - ready to ship!
Wee bits of purple, pink and blue with hints of rich brown , this infinity circle cowl is incredibly soft and toasty warm. Inspired by the awesome cowls that Claire Fraser wears in the Outlander series of books by Diana Gabaldon, this very soft cowl is the color of Scottish wildflowers, abloom on the Highlands of Scotland.
"They aren't flowers, they're specimens. And it was you who suggested I take up botany. To occupy my mind, now that I've not got nursing to do," I reminded him. "True." He nodded good-humoredly. "But I didn't realize I'd have bits of greenery dropping out into my lap every time I opened a reference. What was that horrible crumbly brown stuff you put in Tuscum and Banks?" "Groutweed. Good for hemorrhoids." "Preparing for my imminent old age, are you? Well, how very thoughtful of you Claire.”
~~~Claire and Frank Randall from Outlander, series of books by Diana Gabaldon
This reversible circle scarf is crocheted with an interesting diagonal pattern (think wandering and traipsing about the moors.) It goes everywhere with a coat, sweater, dress or shirt, from casual to elegant. I'll be wearing a cowl like this one with jeans and boots as the weather cools.
